Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Elizabeth Burnham is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Reserve or National Guard units.Burnham, a civil affairs instructor, is a member of the 80th Division (Training), based at Fort Dix, Trenton, N.J. She has nine years of military service.She is the daughter of Deborah D. and John M. Burnham of Thaxter St., Hingham, Mass.The sergeant graduated in 1984 from Hingham High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1991 from the University of Maine, Orono. In 1998, she earned a master's degree from Simmons College, Boston, Mass.Source: Armed Forces News Services
