Army Reserve 1st Lt. Benari L. Poulten is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Reserve or National Guard units.Poulten is a public affairs chief with the 314th Public Affairs Operations Center, based in Birmingham, Ala. He has served in the military for 10 years.He is the son of Samuel and Gail E. Poulten of Berkley Drive, Chelmsford, Mass.The lieutenant graduated in 1995 from Chelmsford High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1999 from Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass.
