Army National Guard Pfc. Marvin G. Hernandez has graduated from the Field Artillery Firefinder Radar Operator Advanced Individual Training (AIT) course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. The student learned to establish and maintain radio and wire communications; operate and maintain firefinder radars and associated equipment; construct fortifications, bunkers, and crew-served weapons emplacements; and perform operator maintenance on prime movers, radar systems, and related equipment.He is the son of Emma J. Rivera of Richmond St., New Bedford, Mass., and Marvin A. Hernandez of Wyman St., Boston, Mass.Hernandez is a 2009 graduate of New Bedford High School.Source: Armed Forces News Services
