Woody Bradford is President and CEO at Conning

Conning, a leading global provider of expert asset management solutions and services to the insurance industry, today announced that Woody E. Bradford has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Bradford also joins Conning’s Board of Directors.

Since the acquisition by Aquiline Capital Partners in late 2009, Conning has been positioning itself to grow its core business and enhance its leadership position in the industry. Mr. Bradford’s expanded role will serve to accelerate Conning’s various growth strategies.

Prior to joining Conning, Mr. Bradford was an Operating Partner with Advent International, a global private equity firm. Previously, he spent 12 years at Putnam Investments where he had multiple roles, including Head of Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer of Global Distribution.

Mr. Bradford is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Chemistry and of the Harvard Business School, where he earned his MBA and graduated as a Baker Scholar. Mr. Bradford is a member of the Supervisory Board of Quoniam Asset Management GmbH and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Food Bank.
