Civilian Levi D. Beaudry

December 09, 2010(FHTNC)--Civilian Levi D. Beaudry, son of Lynn A. and Jean G. Beaudry of Grand Isle, Vt., recently enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps under the Delayed Entry Program at Military Entrance Processing Station, Boston, Ma. The program allows recruits to enter the Marine Corps and take up to one year to complete prior commitments such as high school. Using recruiter as mentors, this program helps recruits ease into the transition from civilian to military life. Beaudry will report to Recruit Depot for active duty to undergo basic training in Parris Island, S. C. or San Diego, Calif. Beaudry is a 2010 graduate of Essex High School of Essex Junction, Vt.
