Civilian Jacquelyn K. Boutot

December 15, 2010(FHTNC)--Civilian Jacquelyn K. Boutot, daughter of Tanya and Luke Boutot of Bristol, Conn., recently enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps under the Delayed Entry Program at Military Entrance Processing Station, Boston, Ma. The program allows recruits to enter the Marine Corps and take up to one year to complete prior commitments such as high school. Using recruiter as mentors, this program helps recruits ease into the transition from civilian to military life. Boutot will be completing her senior year at Bristol Eastern High School.
