Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Elect Richard McCready to Board of Overseers

On October 4, 2011, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston held their 117th Annual Meeting. Two Directors and 15 Overseers were elected to the Board, including Richard McCready, a resident of Weston.

Richard McCready has been involved in commercial real estate investment and finance for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience in capital markets, raising debt and equity capital, innovative transaction structuring, organization building, asset/risk management and value creation in a variety of real estate businesses. Currently working as a consultant, Mr. McCready serves as an active partner and/or director with West 4th Capital Ltd, a real estate investment management and development firm based in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Kearsarge Energy LLC, a Massachusetts company focused on financing and developing renewable energy projects in the United States; and Versus Global Multi-Manager Real Estate Income Fund LLC, a private equity real estate fund-of-funds registered as an Investment Company. Previously, Mr. McCready was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp, an internally managed real estate finance company, where he worked for 12 years. Mr. McCready received his B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. He currently serves on the Development Committee for the Cambridge School of Weston.
