Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Elect Malcolm Huckaby to Board of Overseers

On October 4, 2011, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston held their 117th Annual Meeting. Two Directors and 15 Overseers were elected to the Board, including Malcolm Huckaby, a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire.

Malcolm Huckaby is the Vice President Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Private Bank at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Since joining in 2009, Mr. Huckaby has worked on a four-person private banking team managing $800 million in client assets and was voted Top Wealth Manager in the Boston area by Boston Magazine in 2009. Prior to his current role, Mr. Huckaby worked at Bank of America Private Bank and the Boston Private Client Group of Merrill Lynch. Mr. Huckaby also has taught general education to at-risk seventh and eighth grade students and played for the National Basketball Association’s Miami Heat. Mr. Huckaby received his B.A. in Communications from Boston College, where he played basketball and was voted Defensive MVP for three consecutive years. He serves on the Sports Legacy Institute’s Professional Advisory Board, Crossroads for Kids Board of Directors, Next Step Board of Directors, Nativity Prep School Board of Trustees, Boston College Alumni Association Board of Directors, and BGCB’s Board of Overseers. Mr. Huckaby is married and a father of five.
