Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Elect Ralph Smith to Board of Overseers

On October 4, 2011, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston held their 117th Annual Meeting. Two Directors and 15 Overseers were elected to the Board, including Ralph Smith, a resident of Waltham.

Ralph Smith is the President and CEO of Kayem Foods, Inc., headquartered in Chelsea. Mr. Smith, a longtime employee of Kayem Foods Inc., previously served as its Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance before being named President and CEO. Mr. Smith received his B.S. from Boston College, an M.B.A. from Boston University, and his M.S.T. from Bentley University. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts and the American Meat Institute. Mr. Smith is married and has two grown children.
