Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Elect Peter Creighton to Board of Overseers

On October 4, 2011, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston held their 117th Annual Meeting. Two Directors and 15 Overseers were elected to the Board, including Peter Creighton, a resident of Boston.

Peter Creighton is the Principal of Land Resources Associates L.L.C., a real estate development firm with a focus on conservation in residential development. Mr. Creighton has over 20 years of experience in real estate planning, design, development and conservation. Previously, Mr. Creighton worked for an affiliated firm, Richmond Development Group. Mr. Creighton received his B.A. from Bates College and has completed professional studies at Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Harvard Graduate School of Design and Harvard University, among others. He was a Founding Co-Chair of BGCB’s Friends Council and serves as Director of both the Boston Natural Areas Network and the Conservation Limited Development LLC Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and is a Board Advisor for the Appalachian Mountain Club and The Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Mr. Creighton also was Vice President of The Trustees of Reservations and President of the Bolton Conservation Trust. He spends the summer months at Thompson Island Outward Bound, where he is the Director of a pilot program, part of a national effort to curb summer learning loss with urban youth.
