Endicott Goes Green Exhibit at the Archives Museum

Event Date 02/13/13

Endicott Goes Green exhibit will be on display through July 17, 2013 in the Halle Library Archive & Museum Gallery at Endicott College, 376 Hale Street, Beverly, MA. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opening reception is February 13, 2013 from 4-6 pm. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

Endicott Goes Green displays and explains how the Endicott College campus operates in an environmentally responsible manner by incorporating sustainability into our students’ academic and residential experience through academic courses of study, comprehensive recycling, energy efficiency, and green operations.

Sustainability is the capacity to endure. For humans, sustainability is the long-term maintenance of responsibility, which has environmental, economic, and social dimensions, and encompasses the concept of stewardship, and the responsible management of resource use.

The exhibit includes objects, photographs, paper ephemera, and computer programs. For more information on this exhibit or information on the Archives Museum at Endicott College, contact Barbara Broudo at 978-232-2257 or broudo@endicott.edu.
